Let me put together the words you need to say...
The results you need
Passion, experience, and the ability to communicate clear and concise messages. That's what I bring to my work. When Philadelphia captured the Guinness World Record's Largest Soul Train Line in 2012, I was there as lead organizer and lead publicist, scoring global media attention for an event that drew thousands. I also served as Communications Director for former Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter’s 2011 re-election campaign and have extensive newspaper experience, focused on such coverage areas as business, education, government and entertainment. A story I co-authored, "Churches for Sale," in the Philadelphia Tribune, won First Place in the News Category for the 2016 National Newspaper Publishers Association. They all show the kind of excellence and results-oriented public relations and writing I bring to each pursuit.
The right message for the right audience
As a communications consultant and public relations specialist, my mission is to make your message clear, concise, interesting, relevant and accessible. That may involve hosting a news conference, providing online content or devising a long-term campaign. I work with individuals, media outlets, non-profit organizations or community groups, helping to identify the client's audience and most effective way to reach it.
Philly dancers set 'Soul Train' line record
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Almost 300 dancers who strutted, shimmied and shook their way down a Soul Train line set a world record earlier this year in Philadelphia.
Guinness World Records has certified February's Soul Train line outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art as the world's longest.
Two hundred ninety-one dancers took a hip trip between the two lines of swaying participants, breaking the old record of 211 dancers set at a California high school last year.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports organizers Sheila Simmons received confirmation of the record from Guinness on Monday.
Simmons says the record-setting attempt was inspired by the death of longtime "Soul Train" host Don Cornelius on Feb. 1.

"Know you audience" is a truism of journalism. I communicate weekly with a diverse Philadelphia readership through Liberty City Press, carried by the Philadelphia Sunday Sun, Al Dia, Philadelphia Gay News, Philadelphia Metro Chinese and Metro VietNews.
My press releases -- for such non-profits as the area's leading children's advocacy organization and acclaimed youth development experts The Evoluer House -- resulted in major, local news coverage. In 2015, I released my first book, "Memoir of a Minnie Riperton fan."
With Sheila Simmons Enterprises, my goal is to get your message to the right people in the right places. I tailor specifically to the needs of your business or organization. I hope you'll check out the services I offer, some of my clients and past employers, and a few of my proudest communications accomplishments.
